So excited for a new year to begin.    There are just so many current events to choose from, I didn’t know what to read on this month.

Just to have something to say… I drew a few cards for the Iowa caucus 2012 results tonight… I selected Romney, Gingrich and Paul.

Romney seems to be the clear victor,  and people are rallying around him who haven’t before.  But, he’s a stubborn man, and he remembers those who were cold to him prior.  So, we can expect cockiness in the aftermath of tonight’s win, but this isn’t the finish line, and the cards suggest he keep his celebrations to a minimum, humility is important.

While Romney may be tempted to sit back on his laurels, Gingrich knows he must remain vigilant and steadfast.  However, he’s so disappointed and angry it’s blinding him.  Those two emotions combined, plus denial over his falling support numbers, lead to a bitter demeanor and a pessimism that hurts for a while but actually helps him later on.

Ron Paul is an interesting read, mostly because he is who he is, it appears so uncompromising, but, being surrounded by people who are positively obsessed over his appearance this long has made even he doubt himself.  The cards also say he’s working on a contract (probably TV) to get him even more in the public eye later this year.
